2026 Fall Core Season

Our core program is the foundation for all the fun, excitement and learning that happens on the fields. AYSO is best known for our core program – it’s where the large majority of kids fall in love with soccer and make memories that will last a lifetime.

There are six core values – or what we call AYSO’s Six Philosophies – that are the foundation of our core program, and all others: Everyone Plays, Balanced Teams, Open Registration, Positive Coaching, Good Sportsmanship and Player Development. These are the essence of AYSO and it all starts with Everyone Plays.

Here in AYSO, Everyone Plays means that no kid spends their soccer experience sitting on the bench. Every kid plays at least half of every game. Learn more about AYSO’s Six Philosophies: Everyone Plays, Balanced Teams, Open Registration, Positive Coaching, Good Sportsmanship, Player Development

Also, teams are put together in a way that makes playing soccer about the experience, not wins or losses. It’s not about blowing out another team with an unbelievable score; it’s about sportsmanship and learning to be the best possible team mate and opponent.

Developing players is what we’re about, because soccer skills and life skills go hand in hand. AYSO’s main purpose is to get kids on the field, provide them with good coaches, and teach them to play soccer.

Our Core program includes a Fall and Spring season. The Fall season begins on August 1st and the Springs season begins on January 1st. Typically 8-10 games are played each season and teams generally hold one to two practices per week (depending on the age group).

Fall 2026 Registration Refund Policy

Dropped Players, Returned Check Policy, Disbanded Teams, and Late Registration

Refund Policy:

All refund requests must be submitted in writing with a copy of the receipt and/or the order confirmation.

The AYSO National Membership Player fee of $25.00 and $3.25 Sports Connect Service fee is non-refundable.

Players who drop for any reason must notify the region in writing on or before June 30, 2026 for a refund less the non-refundable AYSO National Membership Player fee ($25.00).
Players who drop before August 1, 2026 must notify the region in writing to receive a 50% refund less the non-refundable AYSO National Membership Player fee ($25.00).
No refunds after August 1, 2026, except for medical reasons accompanied with a Doctor’s note or reasons approved by the RC.
Disbanded Teams due to lack of a coach or players will receive a refund less the non-refundable AYSO National Membership Player fee ($25.00).
The Region will not change a player’s team for any reason.

REFUNDS WILL BE PROCESSED BY THE END OF THE SEASON

Returned Check Policy:

A $10.00 fee is assessed for checks returned to the region for any reason. Repayment must be paid in money order or cashier’s check and mailed to the AYSO address listed above.

Registration Fee includes:

Player registration processing fee, AYSO National Membership Player Fee (non-refundable), AYSO Area Registration Fee, player uniform (jersey, shorts, and socks), and a subscription to National “Soccer Now” magazine.
